Reflection: Takeaways & Next Steps
Professional Growth and Skill Development at Hamilton County ESC: A Journey in Education and Design
I developed quite a bit as a designer after working for Hamilton County ESC for over seven years. Not only did I learn about the education industry, but it also provided me with the opportunity to gain practical experience in both design and leadership roles, refine my skills, and build a strong foundation for my career in the field. As a lead UI/UX designer, I strengthened my software proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, foundational design principles, and effective client communication. Additionally, I developed project management skills, received and incorporated feedback, and gained experience in both print and digital design, all while staying updated on industry standards and trends.
My next step involves reflecting on how my experiences at HCESC have prepared me for future opportunities and considering how I can leverage the skills and knowledge I gained to pursue new challenges.
